Yesterday we reported that the PlayStation 4 will get a touchscreen controller, and how coincidental it may sound leaking from a prototype the next day. The controller confirmed the touchscreen on the picture in the middle of the controller and let in addition see that we can expect a integrated PlayStation Move functionality.
This reports the site Destructoid in a blog post. The photo comes from Destructoid and (still) obtained by an unknown person.
TouchscreenThe controller is initially almost completely the same. The buttons are still in the same spot, and the design seems quite the same. However, the new PS4 controller slightly thicker, a little bit wider and the joysticks are minimal. There is also a (probably capacitive) touch screen, small speakers and a blue lamp at the top. This last confirmed probably the PlayStation Move functionality. The controller includes the well-known Mini-USB socket, and has expected to still be the wireless ability to connect to the console. data-text
